As of July 1st 2007:
- For RT, UT, ET and CEDO, NRCan has implemented a math prerequisite which will effect all students registering for these courses. All students will be required to complete a 15 question math examination prior to being approved to attend these courses. Again, this is a one time examination. This exam can be completed at any Test Centre or can also be challenged online.
- When applying for CGSB certification, it is mandatory for all candidates to have successfully completed an Engineering, Materials and Components (EMC) course, or to provide evidence of meeting this requirement by successfully completing an equivalency exam. CINDE offers this exam online free of charge to our members, or $100 for non-members. Annual CINDE membership fee is $60 and you can register online at http://www.cinde.ca/members/register.phtml?type=membership
This is a one time exam which candidates must receive 70% minimum to pass. Please note: All candidates who currently hold two (2) or more CGSB certifications are exempt from this requirement. - New government regulation requirements for Radiography Level 2. Are you currently a Nuclear Energy Worker employed at a company? If so, it is necessary that you submit a copy of your current energy worker consent form along with your Social Insurance Number. This information should be faxed to us at 905-574-6080 at the time of registration. Course results will be held until this information has been provided.
