Job Description/Requirements: Keyano College is currently seeking an Instructor for our Non Destructive Testing (NDT) program in our Trades and Heavy Industrial Training Division. This is a full-time permanent position commencing immediately. RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be required to develop curriculum, instruct, evaluate and test students in all aspects of the field of Non Destructive Testing (NDT), including the use of extensive theory and shop delivery methods of MT, PT, UT, RT, ET. Development and instruction of industry specific courses in NDT and practical examination and recertification will be a part of this position. QUALIFICATIONS: � Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Level 2 or higher preferred in UT, RT, MT, PT, ET with a minimum of five years industry experience in an industrial / commercial environment � CGSB Instructor certification would be a definite asset � A valid class five driver�s license is required for this position. SALARY: Placement on the salary scale will be dependent upon education and experience. Job Description/Requirements: Responsible for implementing the Company's QA procedures and maintain the quality system in accordance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and NADCAP. Ensure all Level II NDT inspectors are certified, including testing and training. Review parts rejected by inspectors, write and review technique sheets and processes for magnetic particle inspection and nital etch and perform audits of the NDT facilities. Applicants must be certified for MPI Level III, ASNT,CGSB or NAS410 with experience in the aerospace industry or experience with aircraft related components and have proven supervisory experience. Knowledge of customer specs within the aerospace industry and excellent communication skills are essential. Knowledge of Nital Etch process is an asset.
